Mr. Lowell Howard Hall of Edmonton, Kentucky, son of the late David and Myrtle Troxtell Hall, was born on March 28, 1944 in Wayne County, Kentucky. He departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Cumberland Valley Nursing Home in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 80 years, ten months and 18 days.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Ravenna Separate Baptist Church. Mr. Hall was a lifelong farmer, played the banjo, enjoyed taking long walks and especially the time spent with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christine Hurt Hall, having united in marriage on January 10, 1969.
Other survivors include his children: David (Peggy) Hall of Burkesville, Melinda Choban of Edmonton, Beverly (Chad) Glenn of Edmonton, Regina Gilpin (Derek Boothe) of Bowling Green, Kendall (Tiffany) Hall of Glasgow and Marty Hall of Edmonton; grandchildren: Ben Hall, Travis Gibson, Sarah Wright, Trucker Bowles, Dalton Bowles, Nathaniel Hall, Bobby Hall, Chloe Hall, Briella Hall and Jacob Gilpin; great-grandchildren: Kinsley Bowles, Allie Hall, Emmie Hall, Avie Gibson and Lenice Gibson; three brothers: Barney Hall, Clyde (Sue) Hall, Thomas (Donna) Hall all of Ohio; four sisters: Joyce Black of Monticello, Freda Branscum of Monticello, Retha Casada of Crackerneck, and Barbara Black of Eubank; plus a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Nolan Ryan Gibson, and four siblings, Donald Hall, Charlie Hall, Kathleen Phillips and Geneva Nevels.
Funeral services for Mr. Lowell Hall will be conducted at 11 A.M., Central Time, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Ravenna Separate Baptist Church in Edmonton with burial to follow in the Cedar Flats Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Nevels officiating.
Visitation is requested on Monday at the church from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, and after 9 A.M. Tuesday until the time of the service.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to Ravenna Separate Baptist Church.
