Jessica Kay Nicole York

Ms. Jessica Kay Nicole York of Campbellsville, Kentucky, a native of Green County, was born on July 21, 1982 to Regina Curry Richards and Leonard Gary York. She departed this life on December 18, 2021 at her residence having attained the age of 39 years, four months and 28 days.

She made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Christian Church. Jessica was a certified nursing assistant. She was a graduate of Green County High School Class of 2000 and a member of the Green County Band. Jessica enjoyed reading and knitting.

Survivors include her mother and step-father: Regina Curry Richards and husband Mike of Hudgins; her father and step-mother: Leonard Gary York and wife Sueann of Campbellsville; one daughter: Brooklyn Montgomery of Greensburg; one son: Harley Montgomery of Summersville; three brothers: Shane Richards and fiance Marcie Edwards, Jeremy Steven Lawson and fiance Angelica Taylor and John Casey Marple; two sisters: Chryslee Danielle Filback and Jackie York; the father of her children: Thomas Montgomery; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Jessica was preceded in death by her daughter: Chloe Grace Montgomery on October 30, 2007; one brother: Gary Richard York; her grandparents: Lonzo and Kay Curry, Odell York and Jessie Hawkins.

The funeral services for Jessica York will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Bro. Dale Owens, Bro. Leslie Jewell and Steve Lawson officiating.

Visitation is requested after 5 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Wednesday and after 7:00 A.M. Thursday until time of the service at the funeral home.
