Ms. Edna Susan “Sue” Pruitt of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Bruce and Gladys Susan Berry Pruitt, was born on August 11, 1944 in Green County, Kentucky. She departed this life of Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center having attained the age of 78 years, seven months and five days.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a charter member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church.
Ms. Pruitt was a former employee of Jane Todd Crawford Hospital with nearly 55 years of devoted service. She was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, enjoyed making candy and baking treats for her family and friends.
Survivors include nieces and nephews: Chris and Farrah Pruitt of Greensburg, Mike and Holly Norman and Andrea Norman all of Louisville; great nieces and nephews: Sophie Pruitt and Max Pruitt both of Greensburg, Brandon and Heather Overbay of Vine Grove, Jacob Norman and Josh Norman both Louisville; great-great nieces and nephews: Layla Rose, Josh, Zoe Sue and Ben; a special cousin: Roy and Zelda Pruitt of Greensburg; plus a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Jerry Pruitt on April 4, 1985; and a special friend and neighbor: Barbara McAfee.
The funeral services for Ms. Sue Pruitt will be conducted at 2 P.M., Central Time, Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Robert Adkins officiating.
Visitation is requested from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Saturday and after 7 A.M. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy is requested to be in the form of donations to South Greensburg Baptist Church or the Bethlehem Cemetery, which can be made at the funeral home.
