Dannie Wright

Mr. Dannie Lee Wright of Buffalo, Kentucky, son of the late Hop and Lena Cathern Wright, was born on July 14, 1951 in Green County, Kentucky. He departed this life on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at his residence having attained the age of 73 years and ten days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ. Mr. Wright was a mechanic and enjoyed fishing, gardening and mowing the yard.

Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law: Tommy and Jamie Wright of Elkhorn, Jonathan Wright and his companion Diane Knox of Buffalo, and Jason Wright of Campbellsville; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters-in-law: Taylor “Tiny” and Marsha Wright, Jeff Wright and companion Gail Cave, and Suzanne Wright all of Green County; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Landon Knox, and one brother, Eddie Dean Wright.

Funeral Services for Mr. Dannie Wright will be conducted at 2 P.M., Central Time, on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with cremation to follow. Bro. Matt Trumbo officiating. 

Visitation is requested after 12 Noon, Central Time, Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
