Beverley Sue (Reehm) Knight

Mrs. Beverley Sue (Reehm) Gunia Knight of Camden, Arkansas was born on November 15, 1949 in Clarksville, Arkansas to the late Avon Artelia Gonce Reehm and William Willis Reehm. She departed this life peacefully in her sleep on October 19, 2021 at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky having attained the age of 71 years, 11 months and four days.

She professed faith in Christ and attended LaGrange Presbyterian Church since 2017, where she greatly enjoyed the Women’s Bible Study.

Beverley worked as a graphic artist, enjoyed painting and being crafty. She was a very talented artist and worked at the former Multimedia in Camden, Arkansas until its closing. Her love language was food and thoroughly enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She and her husband were active in the Main Street Organization in Camden and helped manage the annual Christmas parade.

Aunt Bev’s house was the place everyone wanted to be, including her nieces and nephews, who spent the summer days in her pool. Aunt Bev’s caring personality and love of her many nieces and nephews is fondly remembered by her family.

She united in marriage to Larry Nielsen Knight on February 15, 1980, who preceded her in death on April 17, 2014.

Beverley served her country in the United States Navy as a Corpsman from November 17, 1967 until she was honorably retired due to medical reasons on September 25, 1970. She achieved the rank of E-4 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. She then served in the Army Reserves as a Recruiter. Beverley was honorably discharged on May 10, 1975, having achieved the rank of E-5.

Survivors include: her stepmother: Sue Reehm (Don Rector) of Lexington, Kentucky; two sisters, three brothers and their spouses: Nancy Ann Draves (Michael) of Clayton, Ohio, William Randolph Reehm (Jean Warren) of Russellville, Arkansas, Robert Daniel Reehm (Charla Doyle) of Marina, California, Mary Reehm Bishop (Reverend Brenson P.) of Greensburg, Kentucky and Raymond Earl Reehm (Teresa Watkins) of Pewaulkee, Wisconsin; two stepchildren: Larry Knight, Jr. (Vicki) of Harmony Grove, Arkansas and Lisa Griffis of Camden, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a multitude of 30 nieces and nephews and over 10 great nieces and nephews with more on the way; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life and Fellowship will be held at 11:00 A.M., Central Time, Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Reverend Brenson P. Bishop officiating.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., November 4, 2021 in Camden, Arkansas at Cullendale First Baptist Church.
She and her husband will be interred with full military honors in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 5, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., November 27, 2021 at the LaGrange Presbyterian Church in LaGrange, Kentucky.
